Walt Disney Studio Archive Pirate Sword Prop Pirates Of The Caribbean

Rare and very interesting vintage Pirate Sword Prop from Disney Studios.
Measures Approx 35” long.
Sword is well made, studio aged and distressed.
Blade is made of aluminum and has been studio painted to look aged.
Hilt and handle have been painted gold by production and painted to look aged and old.
Comes directly from Walt Disney Studio Archives.
Overall very good condition. (See pics)
Area where the blade meets the hilt has begun to separate, but blade is still securely attached to the handle. This could be fixed with soldering, but I will leave that up to the next owner. The sword is currently in the exact condition it was in when it left the Disney Studios Archive.
Comes with copy of Certificate of Authenticity.
Displays very well.
This vintage sword was likely used in Disney theme park attractions including Pirate of the Caribbean and Skull Rock Cove.
This prop sword was likely used in the treasure room based on the unusual style of sword, the great level of detail production went to in painting it and the gold colored handle and hilt.
This is a really unique vintage prop.
The wardrobes and props on the animatronic figures on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride are changed out frequently. This is one of the nicer vintage swords from the Disney Studios archive that I have seen.
Items like this rarely come up for sale and are very hard to find.
