    • This listing is for various quantities of low collar or counter-sunk washers that function perfectly as Wood Washers (which they are NOT), but are far less expensive.
    We put wood screws in a 2×2 piece of pine to demonstrate how they go into the wood – ugly and do not hold well.    With the washer first, they hold far better, do not go into the wood – and you can control if the washer stays on top of the surface, or sinks into the wood just enough to be perfectly flush…see pictures.     This is a great solution to the problem with any soft wood, including OSB.
